Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jonathan L. Guarino, CPA, CGMA serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Soligenix, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial and strategic leadership across public and private companies, including extensive experience in the life sciences industry. In his role, Mr. Guarino oversees finance and capital strategy, SEC reporting, investor and public communications, information technology, human resources, and corporate governance. Prior to joining Soligenix, Mr. Guarino served as Corporate Controller of Hepion Pharmaceuticals (formerly ContraVir Pharmaceuticals), where he led SEC reporting and supported equity and debt transactions. Earlier in his career, he held accounting and financial reporting roles at Covance, Barnes & Noble, BlackRock, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Guarino is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Montclair State University.
